Virtual PCB

The industry's first web-based, fully interactive event

returns November 12 - 13, 2008

Virtual PCB, the industry’s first virtual trade show and conference for the PCB design, fabrication and assembly markets, returns November 12 – 13, 2008.  A fully interactive, web-based event that debuted on February 12, 2008, Virtual PCB illustrates the power of the Internet and its ability to bring together buyers and sellers from around the world.

The overwhelming response of the market to our first Virtual PCB in February 2008 validated our belief that these buyers and sellers were asking for new ways to find each other and interact outside traditional venues. Much of the industry is unable to attend face-to-face events, yet 100% of the industry uses the Internet. In fact, in a recent survey of UP Media Group customers, 76% indicated that they regularly or always used the Internet as a source for evaluating new products and technologies.

The ability to meet virtually with suppliers and attendees makes Virtual PCB the wave of the future. The February debut was a groundbreaking, international event that reached key market sectors and attracted designers, fabricators and assemblers with purchasing power.

UP Media Group President Pete Waddell explains, “We’ve been researching virtual shows for a number of years, and the technology has finally caught up to where such an event actually looks and feels like a ‘real’ show. A virtual event can never replace the face-to-face experience, but can serve to complement and expand market reach.”

Because VPCB is 100% virtual, it can be experienced from a laptop and desktop anywhere and at anytime. Virtual PCB – a place where buyers and sellers from around the world meet online.

It all comes together with Virtual PCB!
